These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Lapseguard (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The service

Lapseguard monitors domains for SSL certificate, domain registration, DNS, and uptime changes, and sends alerts you configure. We work to keep the Service reliable but provide it on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by:

  • Monitoring domains you are not authorized to monitor.
  • Attempting to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
  • Using the Service to violate any law or the rights of others.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed through our payment processor on a recurring basis until cancelled. Prices and plan limits are shown at checkout and in the app. You authorize us (via the processor) to charge your payment method for the plan you select.

Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel at any time from the billing section; access continues through the end of the current billing period. Refunds, where offered, are handled according to the terms presented at purchase or by the marketplace you bought through.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its software and branding, is owned by us and protected by applicable law. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or content beyond use of the Service.

Disclaimers

Monitoring and alerts are provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee that every expiry, outage, or change will be detected or delivered in time, and we are not responsible for losses resulting from missed or delayed alerts.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above; continued use after changes means you accept them.
